About Me
- Name: JOBURG JOURNAL
- Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng Province, South Africa
I'm one of four educators from the U.S. chosen as Fulbright teacher exchange persons by the Bureau of Education and Culture, U.S. State Dept. We're all here for the entire school year in South Africa...all of 2006. I'm teaching 8th and 10th graders at Norkem Park H.S., Kempton Park. The large school has about 1,500 learners...similar to my school back home in Flint, Michigan. My wife, Svetlana, and our 6-year-old boy, Ivan J.J. are here with me...thank goodness for that fact! This blog takes a lot of my time, but it's worth the memories. Hope you enjoy it...let me know, please!!
